Well, we’ve been skiing for a while now. A Basin opened up the 9th. Loveland opened the 7th! I unfortunately was in Duluth for a family wedding and missed opening weekend. But, it was a great time in Duluth, and I’ve gotten a few days under my belt so far. Filming an edit tomorrow if the weather holds up, it’ll be up here ASAP! Here’s a pic of the beautiful midwest in the fall, really the best season there.

Here’s Arapahoe Basins webcam this morning. The big rumor running around town is they’ll try to be open next Saturday, the 10th. My fingers are crossed it happens before then. Not much to do in the county this time of year except get ready for the season. Oh yeah, I also fell on my bike a week ago and got 7 stitches across my forehead... it’s almost healed now though! Here’s the carnage:

I recently helped my buddy, Penny, move up to Alaska. We spent 5 days in a lowered Neon (read: gokart) driving from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to Anchorage. The first few days were pretty boring on the Canadian plains. We stopped in Edmonton for a night of partying and it was really sweet. THe next few days after that, the drive got really epic. Here’s a few photos:

Right after it went live I departed on a 3 week trip up to Alaska, and then back to home in Michigan for a week. More on those trips to follow. Right before I left, I drove up to Wyoming and picked up this bad boy. It’s a 2000 Ski-Doo Summit. Originally a 700, it was upped to an 800, along with a longer 156” track added. Today I figured out a ski holder situation and snapped a few pics. Braaahhhp!
